Alessandro Zeni, one of the world's most renowned climbers, will headline the 4th edition of the Ulassai Festival from May 31st to June 2nd.
This event, dedicated to vertical adventure and outdoor sports, proudly welcomes one of the world's top sport climbers. The Trentino climber will be the honored guest of this three-day event. In addition to attending the opening ceremony on May 31st, Zeni will also take center stage during the awards presentation of the "Climbing Endurance," a climbing challenge where participants aim to accumulate the most points by climbing the most iconic routes in the surrounding crags.
On the evening of June 1st, Piazza Barigau will host the event "Lo scoiattolo volante" (The Flying Squirrel), a true journey through the highlights of the extraordinary career of the Trentino climber. Through breathtaking images and videos, attendees will have the opportunity to revisit some moments of Zeni's life and his approach to climbing, characterized by challenges, friendships, and above all, profound values. The evening will culminate with the screening of the film "Eternit," where Alessandro tackled and completed one of the world's most difficult slab climbs (9a+).
Throughout the festival, Zeni will be available to climb with enthusiasts, sharing his invaluable champion insights. He claims to be a master in the art of belaying. Try to believe it!
